For over three and a half decades, I’ve been crafting solid wood bed frames and natural mattresses, while striving to let Japanese Zen philosophy shape my work and life. Now working from my Caloundra Dōjō, after 33 years in Brisbane, what began as a choice to step away from the conventional path has continued to evolve into something deeper—a mission to help people create healthier, toxin-free homes where they can truly rest and thrive.

Working with natural materials has taught me that true quality comes from simplicity, functionality, and harmony with nature. I feel fortunate to have found work that brings me joy and purpose. Each piece I create carries these principles to life—not just as furniture, but as a way to bring balance and tranquility into your home. My decades of experience in both traditional techniques and innovative design come together in every truly natural bed, sofa bed, and mattress I make.
