The Kagura is from my bespoke handmade to order Signature Range. A low to medium height, solid wood platform end and sides, with floating side tables and substantial size headboard. Height and platform width can be customised. The Kagura is a minimalist piece that still exudes a strong but subtle presence energy. The thick solid wood also bring a strong natural material energy and warmth into the bedroom space. Below photos are the Kagura made in Tasmanian Blackwood.
Kagura is a form of music and dance dedicated to Shinto gods. In the Kojiki and other ancient books that tell us about the mythology of Japan, there are stories of one god hiding within a stone and another god dancing to coax it out, and this is said to be the origin of kagura.

Pine is finished with environmentally friendly, green star rated low VOC, water based stains and clears.
